Getting ready for the most important day of my life....
I'll begin the recaps with us girls getting ready for my big day.
To fill you in on some happenings of the morning, we got off a little behind schedule but that worked out for the better initially because it meant the photographers were there when my mom was doing my hair and originally that wasn't supposed to happen. Secondly I got sick...VERY sick, just after I had a little something for my breakfast. I've had problems with my stomach for years and the doctors can't seem to pinpoint exactly what the problem is so I was concerned that I might have trouble with it the day of. Well, I did and ended up throwing up on my big day. I was so sick, it was terrible and it took over an hour before I even felt like I could get in my dress. There is no doubt in my mind that if my Uncle Bernice (who is a doctor) hadn't been there nursing me and giving me medicine to help that I would have never made it in my dress. During this whole ordeal, my poor hubby-to-be was so worried something was wrong. That put everything way behind and our portrait time scheduled before the wedding got cut a lot. And unfortunately that means that I don't have many pictures with my ladies on my big day. :( But at least we were able to get the ceremony started at 3pm as scheduled. Anyways, on to the pictures!

Mom doing my hair.
The only dress shot I got. Not gonna lie, I'm was and still am a bit disappointed with it but it was the only picture (or lack there of) that I was disappointed with from the whole day so I guess that's not so bad. But after drooling over so many amazing dress shots I felt like mine didn't even begin to compare. Oh well.
Can you tell this is about when I started feeling sick? My poor ladies ended up getting kicked out of the room so I could have peace and quiet, I felt so bad about that.
